you mean how does jones get beat? some of you make me laugh with posts like this. the answer is this.... joe makes the fight happen. he didn't when it mattered. end of story.
Jones would have either stopped him, or beat him an extremely comfortable margin UD. Depending on how hard Joe tries.
Jones would have won, Joe would hit him a few times and put up a decent showing but if Joe really pressed and pressed trying to save his '0' he would probably get KOed late in the fight.
I'm a big Calzaghe fan but I have to go with Jones by close (but comfortable) decision here. A prime RJJ was probably the most athletically gifted fighter ever.
Prime RJ had better defense, better one punch power, great stamina, and greater speed. JC had great stamina and activity, decent power, and had alot of heart. I think JC would get countered running into RJ's right hands and get slowed down with bodyshots. JC would have his moments, but he never faced anyone with superhuman speed and strength like RJ had. RJ would win 8rounds to 4 and definitely would of dropped JC along the way. A stoppage win for RJ wouldn't be out of the question either.
