    I'm not saying Jones wasn't fast to begin with. PEDs increased his speed. He didn't have the confidence to rely on his natural ability like Calzaghe did so had to juice to improve. :good

    Even on the juice I don't think he was unstoppable. Calzaghe would've beaten him at any point. I also think Nigel Benn would've beat him, you know after Jones said he would fight the winner of Benn-McClellan, they nearly killed each other then Jones ducked the winner.

    However granted the PEDs put him out of the reach of most fighters and loss them the chance to find Jones' Achilles heel- his abysmal Khan-like mandible.

    Calzaghe was a coke head. Do you think that rush gave him an advantage in the ring? Too bad that strict testing never caught his cocaine use... :lol:

    So PED's increase your hand speed now :lol: you ever throw a punch or a series of punches ? Go ahead and take some PED's I garuntee you you hand speed will not improve ! And funny but the only one who lacked confidence was Joe " I don't want tough fights " his words not yours :lol:

    Cocaine ain't Performance Enhancing son. If anything it hurt Calzaghe. Just imagine how unstoppable he would've been if he'd not taken that performance deteriorating drug. :yikes

    Because some glass chinned posters believe that Jones could knock out Froch with ease at 168, but he couldn't KO Fermin despite being juiced.

    So OK, if PEDs do absoultey nothing, why was Roy taking them then?

    And it was Jones and Hopkins who ducked prime Joe, waited until he was shot, and still got whooped by The Pride of Wales. :lol:

    Cocaine doesn't do anything for stamina? And why wouldn't that strict testing catch his cocaine use? Just curious.

    Why does any person or athlete take something that you can buy over the counter? For all we know Calzaghe was doing coke between rounds going by his extremely high work rate, right? Remember Joe "knew his capabilities" and would have wanted the Crown Jewels to fight Jones near his prime.

    Again he took something over the counter anything you take on a ban list can be considered a PED ..But again you don't know what your talking about you actually think some magical pill will give you better hand speed :?
