I've always assumed that. People say they don't increase punch resistance but I very much doubt anyone has ever said "punch me in the chin", then took a PED, took another punch and compared how well they took it.

If Alex Ariza was giving Roach's fighters PED's during his spell with them, you could easily argue the Khan either side wouldn't have been able to take that punishment from Maidana. And Pacquiao's punch resistance declined too when Ariza left. :think
