    160
    - Hopkins (UD12)
    - Tate (KO2)

    168
    - Toney (UD12)
    - Pazienza (KO6)

    175
    - Tarver (MD12)
    - Griffin (KO1)

I like the Pazienza fight since it was on my birthday. At 175 I think there is a lot to choose from. But with Tarver and Griffin it showed a side rarely, if ever seen from Jones in the ring.

Nobodys done that, and neither would Jones without PEDs. :hi:

I don't want to alarm you but neither Golovkin or Kovalev are British. Nice try though. :hi:

    Good post :good

That six punch combo that he hit Vinny with was awesome.

    And Vinny being Vinny, complained.

I love that fight. Vinny had a lot of heart, and the atmosphere was electric.

That's the version of Roy, that I'd put forward in any fantasy fight.

He had that swagger at 26, knowing that he was the man.

    This is all speculation..

Clinton Woods is just as tough as anyone and was stopped by a fading Roy.

Woods was a bum. A more accurate example of Jones' talent was when he faced Calzaghe.

It matters not... They are European,(I don't care about the Asia technicality) and you hate most American fighters. Your agenda is clear.

He most likely had a better chin than Kovalev and may be tougher as well..

Jones' speed and power stopped him dead in his tracks after a couple rounds. Who has Kovalev fought with that kind of speed and power that makes you believe he would be hesitant too, and eventually picked apart?

Jones vs. Calzaghe meant nothing when the fight took place... Joe knows this, why can't you accept it?

    Erm, no I don't.

Amongst active fighters, I'm a big fan of Mikey Garcia, Terrence Crawford, Robert Guerrero, The Charlo Brothers, Steve Cunningham, Eddie Chambers, Paulie Malignaggi, Brian Viliora, Gabriel Rosado, Carson Jones amongst others.

I don't actually like Hopkins, just dislike his deluded fanboys and some of his antics at times (i.e his crybaby face when he wants to quit)

The ones I don't like are the PED cheats like Jones and Toney, the ones I'm quit confident are PED cheats like Porter and Ward and the ones that are utter disgraces like Broner.

You can't honestly believe Woods is better than Kovalev? I guess if he is the bum you seem to think he is and he would get knocked out by clean Jones, then he'd get KO'd by a carbon copy of what a clean version of Jones would probably be like with Pascal.

    Super Hans knows this.

But he also knows that he can create giant threads like this by bringing up Calzaghe all the time. This thread which ostensibly isn't about Calzaghe was turned into a Calzaghe thread by Super Hans. It's just his thing, his M.O., his raison d'etre as it were.

His agenda is to keep Calzaghe relevant despite most people not caring about Joe when he was active and even less caring about him now that he's retired.

He yells loudly to get attention and will most likely respond to your post by listing the number of American fighters Joe beat and saying:

"You must be a butthurt (insert list of American fighters Calzaghe beat here) fan" (insert 'deal' emoticon here followed by that 'happy' emoticon and the 'hi' emoticon and lastly the 'rofl' emoticon).

Did I say Woods was better than Kovalev??

I said he likely has a better chin and is tougher..

Clinton Woods is one tough son of a gun, and his game plan against Jones turned into standing hesitant in the center of the ring getting beat up after a few rounds..

I am only saying Kovalev's toughness has not been tested like that. He could very well find himself hesitant against a prime Jones..

I think you'll find it was one of the Yanks who brought up Calzaghe, still butt hurt he went through their heores like a hot knife through butter and amassed a record of 17-0 against them.

In the American hollywoods films somebody red, white and blue always saves the day from the evil foreigner. But I'm afraid this is the real world and the American wombs where not capable of producing a fighter capable of beating some welsh guy from Newbridge. :thumbsup
