Mundine would be finished inside 5 rounds. Green's corner would throw in the towel around the 10th or ref would stop the fight.
If both Green and Mundine were at the top of their game, they perhaps could have avoided the showmanship KO that Kelly suffered when he fought Jones. Or at the very least, Jones would have pretended to tie up his pants from the front, and not the back.
Yeah, we watched it at the Sydney RSL I think. How about this for some food for thought guys... Prime RJJ V Sean Sullivan at a poorly ventilated Challenge stadium in Perth? :think
Mandy & Danny certainly don't rate a mention with a prime Roy, who made fighters of the calibre of Toney & Hopkins look amatuerish.
RJJ's KO of Glen Kelly is about the most arrogant KO I've seen. Even though Kelly was almost done anyway, I still can't believe the right Roy pulled from behind his back to end it! At Roy's sparring session at Star City on a tuesday before the fight, someone in the crowd asked him about the Kelly KO. Roy said he was just trying to get Kelly to throw a punch because he'd put up the shutters. When nothing came Roy just chose to ice him.
Rjj wins both. Green get his nose jabbed apart within 6,mundine goes 8/10 rounds as him and roy dance around a bit and both are very evasive so takes much longer to land a decent punch.
jones stops green inside 3- green is just way too easy to hit and wouldnt be able to land his own mundine maybe lasts the distance, but just from running all fight neither would be even remotely competitive
no i dont kelly hardly threw any punches in that fight , not giving jones many chances to counter him. green i think would at least try to hit jones and in doing so would be out of there very early
