I'd go with Tszyu as well and wouldnt be surprised if Tszyu stopped him. Castillo's pressure isnt the swarming type - its very methodical and i dont think tszyu would be as out of sorts with it as he was in his losses. could be way off tho.

    Tszyu by late rounds stoppage.

I cant see Tszyu koing him but i can envision a referee stoppage in around 10.

Tszyu has the advantage in speed, power, strength and boxing ability. As JMP said Castillo's pressure isnt swarming and i think Tszyu would find the room to work.

I'll take Castillo. Castillo had a much better chin and was more proven with wins over better fighters in his prime. I feel Jose was just a physically harder fighter and he would end up breaking Tszyu's will. Having Vince Phillips lay you in between the ropes and never wanting a rematch tells me he lacks the toughness to win this fight. Tszyu has got to be one of the most overrated fighters of the last decade or two.

Not fighting Phillips again had nothing to do with the "toughness" to win the fight. It was just one of those situations where Tzsyu surpassed Vince Phillips by a lot and it wasn't worth going back.

^this, and Tszyu by late KO victory. You should watch KT's fight against Ben Tackie SoxNation. Really shows off his boxing skills. He purposely boxed in that fight as to enlighten those whom thought of him as only a power puncher...

You can believe that if you want, but Tszyu wanted no part of Vince after that embarrassment. Any real fighter wouldn't settle for some guy putting them to sleep through the ropes. Elite fighters don't get put to sleep by Vince Phillips.

I have, and beating Ben Tackie should not be something anyone hangs their hat on. Tszyu's overall resume is extremely thin to begin with.

That was early in Pacquiao's career and in a completely different weightclass. Tszyu got embarrassed in his prime at the same weight.

Tszyu chin was just as good if not better and he had better resilience to body punches.

A 37 Vince Phillips who is the same size as Castillo was chasing the 6 foot Vernon Forrest across the ring at WW and ate his best punches like they were nothing. Can you imagine Castillo fighting prime Forrest?

Tszyu always wanted to prove he was the stronger man. The fight was a no defense come forward brawl for 10 rounds much like the Hector Lopez fight. Tszyu even flexed his muscles between rounds :yep. Tszyu landed the cleaner punches in that fight but Phillips caught him right on the button (the only time I've seen him really hurt). Box rec enthusiasts would gain new respect for Tszyu if they actually watched the fight.
Pre-Phillips Tszyu would brawl with boxers like Tackie. In his prime he outboxed them.

Once Castillo went up in weight with boxers his size he struggled immediately.

Prime Tszyu would overpower him and knock him out at 140 in a slugfest or a technical fight.

    Great call:good

It seems to me alot of people are going off Phillips fight with Kostya, and are forgetting his destructions of Ruelas and Gonzales for examples on how good Tszyu was.
