I fail to see how Duran would knock out a bigger, stronger man. Julian Jackson's punches will hurt Duran way more than vice versa. At 154, Duran is much slower and easier to hit.

I know what you mean Son, just disagree that Hagler and Monzon match up well with bigger guys. ONLY MY OPINION THOUGH:lol::good:good:good

I see Duran pounding out a decision myself, too smart to get caught cleanly. He's got to be in top shape though and be careful. He's got the power to hurt Jackson as well.

    Duran TKO.

Jackson always relied on his power way too much, his punches are not fast enough to catch Duran.

Duran would need to get careless, but Duran would be too much, too much speed.

Oh i'm not saying they do match up well with bigger men Flea. Sorry if i'm not explaining myself well. What i mean is that people on here know that if they match up Monzon or Hagler with most middleweights, they'll win. So posters here throw them in routinely with Bob Foster etc etc at 175 pounds, which is unfair. That's all i meant. Let's just keep them in their own divisions.

Duran in the form that beat Cuevas and Moore wins this fairly easily.

Although Tommy did catch him, only DeJesus had floored him in the 12 years previous. Duran I suspect would be too cunning to get caught clean by Jackson, and the evidence suggests that even if he was, he would survive.

    Duran TKO6/7

Yeh obviously a switched on & motivated Duran should school Jackson here, he'd know what Jackson brought too the table, but he'd have too be on the ball for the 1st five rounds until he could slow Jackson down as Jackson's KO/power record speaks for itself, but if Duran avoids the (Herol Graham) bomb as he should do it's a Davey Moore style ending:smoke
