One win over a Bonavena or Lyle and Foster is back in the picture.

As I said previously, I respect Mac because he attended Jerry's funeral. That being said, I was interested in Mac's record after the Quarry fight so I went to BoxRec. Nothing after that, a 1970 Folley?? More losers, Ali probably carried him and loss after loss after loss until retirement after that. Norton all the way in my book. I think the Quarry fight took all the starch out of that 24-0 24 KO record. Lastly, Mac could definitely bang but show me a big resume KO against anyone who wasn't over the hill or a journeyman?
RIP Mac, you were a fighter and gave it the best you could.

Good post, thanks for the video link. That was a good version of Quarry, who good really box and fight. All the Quarry brothers suffered from the same problem, their father, who had them literally beat the life out of each other. 3 of the 4 brothers boxed (Jerry, Mike and Bobby) and all 3 ended up with dementia, with Jerry and Mike passing at an early age. The 29 year Jerry who fought Norton looked like a 40 year old.
