Boxer who fought 3 times for a world title and arguably beat Sergio in Argentina... Your better than calling a guy who did that rubbish
Sergio was a shot to **** old cripple Martin Murray was a domestic level British middleweight who froch or Kessler would have beaten to a pulp inside 6 rounds.
Caught him on the down slide... Absolutely..... Still went the distance.... Felix sturm... Knocking on... Yep.... Went the distance... George groves a weight up... Went the distance... Murray was not a favourite of mine by a long shot.... Actually.. He board me to ****in tears... But he was better than British and some would say he was unlucky not to win a world title... And this is me being objective
The fight was there for Froch to take. He was the guy saying he was too big and too strong for GGG. When Golovkin's camp said fine, let's do it, he came out with excuses. OK, whatever. If he'd said yes, then it would 100% have been on, it was potentially a huge event.
I would probably favour Kessler in his prime over either Canelo or Golovkin. He was some fighter in the mid-00s, before a combination of injuries, inactivity and promotional issues dulled his edge.
Not only that, but Froch stated many times that GGG was one guy he didn't want to fight. Then look at what happens when Froch retires... posts a pic up of him taunting GGG. GGG would have steamrolled him.
GGG only had the gonads to call out Froch when he was retired , when he knew chances of the fight happening were slim to none. Froch never said said that GGG was the one guy he didn't want to fight. He did say "swerve GGG at all costs" when taunting Groves but that doesn't mean anything. Froch said and done a few things when nearing the end of his career , notably dropping the IBF when he was ordered to fight DeGale. There's no way he would have have done that in his prime. He would have fought DeGale and pasted him , the same would have happened to Golovkin. Froch would have fought anybody in his prime. Golovkin has shown he shy's away from challenges. If he won't move up and fight Callum Smith , he wouldn't have moved up and fight Froch. Nothing more to it that that.
" This content is protected Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing was talking about putting the fight together, and Golovkin was on board. But for some reason, Froch didn’t take it. He likely would have made even more money than he did in his two fights with George Groves, but he didn’t take it." https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/11/froch-thinks-hed-have-beaten-canelo-and-golovkin/
Kessler too stiff. He did put punches together well tho. Canelo times him I think and lands the harder punches to a decision. Who did Kessler ever beat?
