you are right this fight would never of happend because but it would of been one of the greatest fights ever if it did! Kosta Tszyu fought ricky hatton when hatton was in his prime n KT was on the decline, KT in his prime would of taken out anytype of cotto though

Man, people are acting like Cotto is the second coming. He's a damn good fighter but I just think his style is all wrong against a guy like Tszyu.

I think Tszyu knocks him out easily at 140 and wins at 147. I don't see where Cotto's chin suddenly improves so significantly and Tszyu's power and precision striking diminishes by the seven pound difference that it affects the outcome.

Let's talk about Tszyu's best fights, not his worst like Phillips and Hatton (his last ever fight? cmon guys, do you really judge a fighter by his last ever fight? put that into practice with all your favourite fighters and see how they rate..)

In his best fights he lands the hooking jab and big rights as well as body punching that I say without hesitation is as good as Cotto's. Across the guy's entire career whenever he landed the right and went to the body (not nearly enough) he hurt people in a serious way ... with single punches.

Cotto often pauses before throwing and this is death in front of Tszyu.

Tszyu hurts him in the middle rounds and then as one of the best finishers in 140 history ... finishes him off straight away.

I'm trying to stay clear of being a fan of Tszyu but I'd say Tszyu would have this fight in a real tough battle. His strong punches would be to much for Cotto in my opinion, even though Cotto is starting to show more of his boxing arsenal, Kostya in his prime just seems to smart for Cotto.

But i do say it wouldn't be easy for both fighters.

This fight would never happen. It is generally accepted here that Cotto has no fists, but Tszyu is very clever boxer and he knows the truth. So he avoids this challenge as he always does. He will just take his time while Cotto moves up to WW and stays in luckluster 140lbs.

Tszyu would stop him at 140. He's simply just a better fighter in every sense.

Hmmm....I totally disagree, while at 140 Zoo was surely the more exp and mature fighter he still lacked full versitility. Many people are blinded by the smoke and mirriors of his powerful arsenal but it was far from the full package. Cotto brings a better all around attack, it would be an intresting fight with Cotto needing to fight an extremely intellegent bout but he has all the tools to give Zoo a painful beating.

Tszyu had too much power for Cotto's chin to handle at 140. Tszyu by KO

You want to see boxing arsenal and full versitility. Watch Zoo beat the **** out of Forrest on Youtube.

Tszyu is better at every aspect of the game than Cotto. Tszyu wasnt just a one punch wonder and if you had seen some of his fights or read what some of his opponents said you would know this.
Look at Zoo's fight with such fighters like Roger Mayweather, Juan Laporte, MIguel Gonmzalez who had never been dropped let alone stopped in the ring til he fought Tszyu.

I think people overlook some of his fight because like yourself you have probably only seen Kostya's fights after he beat Judah. were Tszyu's Prime was from 1998 until 2003.

Ive seen Cotto's fights and he has been shaken by men like Corley,Torres and Judah were Tszyu would take all those men to the cleaners.

On a pound for pound sense, you would have to take Kostya, and probably by KO.
