This was probably Floyd's best weight, he honestly looked like the perfect fighter against Gatti. You'd have to be among the elitest of the elite to challenge him here, and I don't think Tszyu qualifies.
Floyd via wide UD, Tszyu lands some big shots though.
I would be more surprised if Tszyu was competitive than I would be if Floyd won every round. Floyd by wide 10-2ish or so
The Gatti performance is so overrated.
In what respects? Floyd fought the perfect fight. He showed off the best aspects of both ends of his career, the power and aggression of Pretty Boy and the defense/untouchability of Money.
True but so did most of Kostya's opponents
I think Oscar pretty much proved 4 years before that Gatti couldn't hang with elite fighters.
Tszyu would have done the same thing to Gatti that Floyd did. Gatti was a good fighter at 130 but was mediocre at best after that.
Floyd kos him late.
Mayweather wins comfortably.
