LOL Would have....should have....could have.... Floyd could also have fought JMM at the contacted weight.....never did. Again....3rd time of asking, please give us Crawfords top 3 or 5 wins.
it's like asking would David Benavidez beat Joe Calzaghe.. It's mental to even suggest he would beat Tsyzu at this point lol Tszyu is a proven great, we need to actually see Crawford in with someone decent like Spence first before you could even legitimately ask this question.
3 times I've asked @Pimp C to name Crawfords top 5 or even 3 wins yet he seems to be avoiding. Now it is relevant considering @Pimp C bleats on about daring to be great, whilst ignoring the complete crap state of both 135 and 140 when Crawford ruled.
No it's not. You act as if Zoo is SRL or something he's not on that level of ATG. People have fantasy match ups threads all the time here. Crawford is a top 2 P4P boxer today who was undisputed at 140 the same weight class Zoo was at there's nothing mental about talking about this fight or saying Crawford could beat him.
And I'm not disputing that you have but it really needs to sink in for you in regards to Crawfords really crap resume....despite as you claim him daring to he great by fighting for vacant title at 140.
Tszyu would scramble Dud Crawford like an egg. Dud looks physically fragile to me. A few good right hands from Tszyu would leave him quivering like a plate of jelly. That's if he was still upright after being hit by them. Which is doubtful. I think Dud could make it past 2 rounds with a good fight plan but Tszyu catches up with him & drops a hammer on his head inside 5.
But the fighters there where equally as bad. Are you saying that Indongo is "elite" because he was the number 1 in a **** poor division?.....although Indongo was or is a borderline Commonwealth type guy.
Actually he was. Tszyu signed an exclusive five-fight deal with Showtime that paid him US$3m a fight after becoming undisputed champ. That, plus the drongos at the WBC, cost us Tszyu v Mayweather. The WBC installed little known Italian Gianluca Branco as their #1 140lb contender. Showtime wasn't interested in televising a fight between him & Tszyu so Tszyu declined the fight & the WBC stripped Tszyu of the title. They sanctioned Branco v Gatti for the vacant title. Gatti won & Mayweather subsequently challenged Gatti for a 140lb championship. Thank you WBC.
Tszyu signed an exclusive five-fight deal with Showtime after unifying all the titles with Zab. So that's late 2001. That was the reward for Showtime bankrolling 140lb unification. The winner of Tszyu v Zab was to get the big fat contract. The contract came to an end when Tszyu lost to Hatton (fourth fight of the five fight deal). The contract meant Tszyu wasn't able to fight any of the guys who had exclusive HBO deals. It did however secure his financial future (hopefully for life).
I like Crawford a lot, and I’m hoping he becomes the all time great fighter that I think he has the potential to be, but Kostya Tszyu was awesome at 140 lbs., with real power and a much higher boxing IQ then he’s given credit for, I’m almost certain Tszyu would’ve controlled the fight early, whether or not Crawford would’ve won would’ve depended on his ability to make adjustments, we haven’t seen “Bud” face serious adversity, so I can’t pick him over Tszyu. Kostya Tszyu by unanimous decision.
