No he wasnt elite but he held a title and was in the way of Crawford being undisputed. If crawford didnt fight him and moved up youd have people saying he ducked him. I remember before crawford signed to fight him you had some people saying he would knock crawford out.

 

Well those people DKSAB as Indongo is weak and already shut out another of Crawfords top wins in Burns....it all just shows how weak both 135 and 140 were.

Ward moved up to fight Kovalev....now that's "daring to be great" and a legacy type fight.....moving up to face a guy who is Commonwealth level certainty cannot be deemed to be a legacy type fight nor "daring to be great".

Prograis just showed Indongo's true level.

Lol. KT has a lot more firepower than Bud. Have you noticed how many shots it take TC to put someone away? Boxing skills, probably give that to Bud, but not power.

KT always did well against slick boxers. TCs wobble after getting hit by Gamboa was not a promising sign for fighting a guy like KT who had a laser guided power straight right and the ability to time any boxers coming in to him.

Interesting fight but by no means a foregone conclusion.
