Look at this clown, I have been ignoring your meaningless existence for ages but somehow you find a way to come back to my doorstep.
He was a flash in the pan, not like other greats, Bob Foster, Saad, Muhammad, Archie Moore, his decline according to his followers, is lack of prime, but it is his drinking, he is an ordinary robot puncher, no style. He never had a prime, only in the minds of his fans. His stamina must have suffered, as a result of his partying the night away. Need I say more, I already have stated in my points, he will soon be forgotten. He has been too inactive, because of what I have stated.
You're a silly ****ing idiot to think that people would **** on canelo if he did that. You just love to be a hyperbolic fanboy. "If canelo fought Ruiz Jr, he wouldn't get credit..." You said that last week.
Well I had the half faded Krusher up wide on my cards so had the fight taken place 18-24 months ago no doubt Krusher (based on Judging for Canelo) by SD
If you believe Canelo would beat Kovalev in his prime, then you would also believe that Carlos Bojorquez would beat Pernell Whitaker in his prime, as well as Terry Norris beating Sugar Ray Leonard in his prime. People take prime fighters beating over-the-hill fighters way too seriously. Canelo was a 5-1 favorite against the fading Kovalev and he was losing the fight before the KO. Kovalv's reflexes, punch resistance and hunger was gone before Canelo got to him. He was talking about retirement the fight before.
I'd say Kovalev by KO. That said, you never know since perhaps if he opened up more in his prime he would have been countered hard. Canelo is a pretty good counter puncher.
Kovalev would starch him mid to late rounds in his prime. In years to come this victory by Canelo will not age well, just like Kovalev not aging well
