It’s anyone’s guess, since Kovalev has always been a temperamental fighter, who once he gets in one of his moods will ignore instructions, which led to him losing to both Ward and Alvarez in the first place.

KRUSHER UD again. Alvarez is dangerous and seems pretty tough!

that was also your pick for the first fight and the rematch. the only thing is I'm leaning towards prime Kovalev for the ko maybe not round 4. round 4 is what you picked vs callum smith is 4 your lucky number?

No, its Kovalev's.:deal: For some reason I think 3 would be a stretch, and 5 is too generous.

After ward I never thought Kovalev could KO alvarez althought I'd favour that outcome if they had a part 3. not in 4 but in 8

    Kovalev

I don't really get Alvarez's hype, watched him a couple of times and he's really not all too good.

he is decent when there are openings I've seen him go for jabs to the body and land straights at well. so, the style he knocked Kovalev out wasn't a massive surprise. I felt Kovalev didn't pace himself. now I find out he was in prison during training camp and probably worried sick and also training but not with a strategy. the mistake with Kovalev was firing JDD and going for a MEH trainer. him going to buddy was a good choice, buddy works good with flat footed heavy handed guys. if you aren't that kind of fighter he might be a bad choice.

I just think Kovalev wasn't in good form and yeah the Buddy hiring was great.

He was caught with punches that he usually doesn't get hit with in that 1st fight and of course.. got knocked out.

This is prime Kovalev (The one against Clevely I assume), I think he smashes Eleider freaking Alvarez.

His jab to the body, his right hand precision would be too much.

I agree Kovalev is at a stage of his career I mean how impressive was the rematch win with no context In coming back from a KO the match wasn\t the crusher it was kind of boring without context. with context it's a great story of doing what's needed and learning a lesson.
