    IIRC Kovalev beat Beterbiev in the amateurs and I can see why. The way he creates space and has a super long jab is problematic for a guy that likes to fight close up with his jackhammer-like short punches. I favour a best version of Kovalev while also acknowledging that a guy like Beterbiev has a healthy chance of swinging the fight his way.
