This just suddenly came up on my mind when I saw Vazquez-Marquez 3.

Larios on his prime as a champ at 122 isn't really a push-over. In fact he was considered a threat when Paulie Ayala and Pac were still champs at 122. Regardless of the 1-2 score going against him on a head-to-head with Vazquez, I still consider him a very close second.

Now with that in mind, what would you think will happen had it been Larios that met Rafa at 122?

Would Rafa's power prove to be the difference or Larios workrate be too much and the accumulation of punches will take a toll on Rafa's chin?

For the record, I think Larios' busy style would pose troubles for Rafa. I pick Larios with a majority decision win.

Rafa by close, but decisive UD victory.

Larios would give him a prety damn good scrap... not quite as good as the Vazquez trilogy, but a great fight nonetheless. Rafa's straighter shots would prevail against Oscar's wider ones in this one IMO.

close fight, its possible that larios would stop rafa in his prime. A prime larios is dangerous and no walk in the park especially since marquez is from 118 a division lower than larios. I pick larios by late TKO or close UD

Larios lands more but Rafael smashes in the more eye-catching punches to take it by UD/late TKO
