How does Holmes fair?

  1. Are you kidding? He dominates!

  2. He rises to the top.

  3. He's in the mix but doesn't stand out.

  4. He's fringe.

  5. Against these big chiseled hunks? He's toast!

Dokes didn't send an offer to Holmes at all, you put everything on Holmes yet again but that aside, I know you're TRYING to sound ignorant to not understand here but the difference between the two is Dokes beat Weaver by a highly controversial stoppage, had a controversial draw in the rematch with some thinking Weaver and then lost the title to Coetzee, all within a year. Pinklon was undefeated and had decisively beaten Tim Witherspoon in 84 to get the WBC title. Then he defended it in 1985 against Weaver. It's not the same situation at all. Fights don't just happen when both sides want it, they take time to promote and organize, it's hard to unify when your opponents' promoter is Don King and the fighters are losing their belt within a year.

He's not beating Wlad, not in his most fanciful dreams.
