    I forgot about that; Ken's cross-arms defense did do that against Ali. Hmmm, makes me rethink what I wrote earlier...

    From me watching it, it reminded me of canelo vs GGG 2, GGG was better with the jab, but Canelo had the better variety everywhere else, better combinations and he was forcing the action with not a bad jab himself, very similar to Norton vs Holmes, Norton forcing the action and getting inside past the jab and throwing combinations also both them fights that I mentioned could've gone either way IMO

    I thought Norton won it close but clear. 9-6. It was surprising to see the champion lose his title by that razor thin margin. "You gotta take it from the champ' only applied to Alis gift decisions

    Norton by decision.

    Prime Holmes barely beat a past prime, though still very good, Norton.

    Yes, he could nullify the jab but be a bit busier than he could in '78.

    Once again a brilliant fight.
    Once again Norton takes it to Holmes and pushes him to his limit , and once again Larry manages to get a tight decision win.
