I agree with a lot of what you are saying, but Holyfield was an average puncher. Larry might get caught but Holyfield is not going to stop him. Larry is plenty strong enough to tie up Holyfield when necessary. Larry might have a rough moment or too but his heart and legs would carry him through until he regained control.

Frankly, I think your arguments are better served to show why Larry would be in a heap of trouble against prime Tyson, who would have the speed and power to finish off a hurt Holmes.

Your overating Holmes a bit if your counting Holyfied out based on that one night when Larry fought to survive.

I don't believe Holyfield has to stop Holmes to be a chance. I can see Holyfield fighting Holmes close sort of like Norton did but with more activity early. I don't think he'd stop him but i think they'd have tight fights. Holyfield is an underrated puncher imo. He has more two fisted power than Larry. Holyfield wouldn't be handled as easily on the outside an so many seem to think, but this is just in my opinion.

I've slowly came around to favoring Tyson in that match yes.

No I was just mentioning it. Holmes is a better fighter in my opinion and prime for prime I still have Holmes a clean clear winner

Prime Foreman stops holyfield. Young foreman had the footwork to put him against the ropes and if moorer ,bowe and cooper did hurt him you would not like to see what foreman would do to him.here we are not talking about a single 1-2 from a ponderous ancient .foreman by tko. George vs holmes is a 50-50.

Your correct I did disrespect Holy saying he wasn't on the same level as Holmes. There both obviously great fighters. I personally feel Holmes is better though and he outboxes him to a clear UD.

I don't disagree that Holmes could or be favored. I just don't see it a lock or domination. He does have that jab and that is a huge factor.
