I am a fan of both fighters but this is a clear mismatch. Haye despite his last performance where a broken hand altered his game plan has a tendency to stand and trade and he would get bombed out quickly if he were to do so. I can't see, even with his hand speed, how he would be able to get past Lewis 84 inch reach and even if he did Lewis would grab hold and use his weight.

If Haye comes out firing like he usually does he get KO'ed early if he moves in an out and tries to out speed Lewis he survives maybe until the 6th at best.

    Good post!!

I am a fan of David Haye, and have been long before it was fashionable to be so! He is a great lad, a talented fighter and a master of self-promotion but Lewis would have beat David! And anyone who suggests otherwise is either A Lewis hater or knows **** all about boxing!!

To be honest I find it incredible that some favour David!! Based on what exactly? His fights at heavyweight? His victory over Moremeck? His win over Enzo Mac? The man hasn't even defended his title! He is probably not even the best heavyweight today, in an era that is sadly lacking in "Great/good" heavyweights and yet some have him beating one of the greatest heavyweights of all-time! Absurd!!!

If David beats old man Klitschko AND his younger brother then and only then will David have earned the right to even climb into the "Fantasy ring" with Lewis!! And for the record, I believe that either Klitschko will beat David!! I really hope that I am wrong, but, that's just how I see it.

And if David does get beat by either brother, I guess this "I believe Haye could/might/would have beat Lewis" nonsense can be forgot!!

Yeah good post. I was never fond of Lennox personally, i was/am a huge Tyson fan. But that doesn't mean i'm going to spout insanity about him being beaten by David Haye! Lennox is one of the best we've ever had.

On this I couldn't agree more if he does that instead of just tan his gums at every opportunity I will totally revert all I said and stop hating him.

Until then he's fly**** to me. :fire

Lewis by complete ****. Haye has punchers chance, but after eating a thousand jabs followed by a big right, then uppercut Haye gets sent to never, never land. This icon will illustrate.

I doubt he would admit it until he was pretty sure Lewis couldn't come out of retirement.

But seriously, Lewis would be the BIG BIG favourite going into the bout. And if he was 100%, on form and had 100% concentration, I think he would dispose of Haye in the mid to late rounds.

However, Haye would have a punchers chance, it's a very slim chance, but it's still a chance. We all remember what happened with Rahman.

In a year or so from now when Haye has been KO'd and had a unspectaclear career at Heavyweights most weakest division in years you will have forgotten how silly your thoughts on Hayes greatness were. And I say that as someone that is a Haye fan!! He fought Valuev extremely scared. LL was in a completely different league in every way. Faster, much more powerful, way more skillfull boxer etc. I sometimes think this is a troll thread. In fact thats were my money is.

I'm pleased Haye won and got the belt. But when I watched it live hand on heart I really thought he'd not done nearly enough to get the win. Yeah sure he did land the best shots of the fight...but they were so infrequent and he ate far more jabs whilst he mostly landed nothing. But he got a gift decision and so here we are. Be interesting to see if he fights Ruiz scared or shows less fear. Watch this space! And lets not forget whatever the outcome of his next fight that Ruiz is past his huggy best!

    Do not feed the Trolls!!
