Would be like Fury/Wilder 2, Lewis backs him up with the jab, manhandles him up close much like he did Grant but even more so vs the much lighter Wilder. Lewis drops him in rd 3 much like Fury did but the difference is Wilder doesn't get back up, Lewis hit way harder than Fury.
Lewis knocks out Wilder by 6th or 7th round KO. Truthfully though, Lewis could end this pretty much whenever he wants, even earlier than the above. BUT, Lewis did tend to be somewhat overly cautious with the big punchers he faced, which leads me to believe he'll spend the first 3 or 4 rounds feeling out Wilder and neutralising his main weapon. Once those mid rounds hit though, Lewis will realised he's got the better of Wilder and will take him out.
It would be a very similar fight to Lewis-Briggs, with the same outcome at around the same time. The only thing that can make it last long is if Lewis plays it very careful given the punching power opposing him - see for reference the Tua fight. I can see Lewis going down that route, but again, Briggs was also a huge puncher..
Let me rephrase that. He's gone on record saying some very stupid things. Breazeale and Duhaupas are not better wins than Rivas and Chisora, Fury is not the GOAT, Wilder is not an all time great, Luis Ortiz does not have a better resume than Whyte, Wilder was not Fury's hardest fight, Vitali never ducked Fury and neither did Wlad, Hearn never stired Joshua from Luis Ortiz, Chisora was not as good as Ray mercer etc etc and thats only the tip of iceberg of what he's said. All he does use boxing math to try and prove that Fury is the goat and Wilder is a monster because he knows Wilder has a mediocre resume. He's been exposed on reddit, his arguments are easy to break down and even easier when you use his own logic against him. He is no intellectual. Nobody is always right. Even the smartest boxers and pundits get things wrong, but his logic is atrocious But go ahead and believe his nonesense. The fall will only be worse
It would come down to what mood Lennox was in. If Lennox wasn't being lazy and complacent then he'd win easilly on points if he wanted to or else he'd likely get the stoppage, but Wilder has the power to trouble him if Lennox isn't taking things seriously enough.
Very good point - Lewis did tend to blow hot or cold in many fights. But for me Lewis would take this fight extremely seriously, no way would he make the Rahman 1 mistake with Wilder.
Let's face it, styles make fights and Lennox is a big, stiff idiot compared to the Gypsy King. I see it going the same way as Wilder v. Breazeale. This content is protected
Lewis would punch his gob so hard that Denty would be able to star in the next Dune as some kind of human / sandworm hybrid without make up.
