I take it back, Wilder doesn’t get up after the first knock down like Grant did!

I live in his head rent free. I don't read his posts but he reads and responds to all of mine, across several different platforms and spams my DM's desperately trying to debate me about his favourite long-retired boxers. Pretty sad.

    Sounds familiar.

He once requested that I take his phone number and call him, and was frustrated that I had blocked off private messages.

Thats how I see it, a brutal demolition.

People can argue about styles make fights etc but there are levels to this, and Lennox is way too much to handle for Wilder, he knows too much, too many skills and just all around too good.

He’s debatably anywhere from number 2-10 all time great heavyweight, Wilder just couldn’t hang with that level of opposition.

That's exactly my point too, Lewis ranks real high in atg lists and fury doesn't atm yet was able to mug wilder 2.5 times . Lewis makes wilder his bride within 4 rounds.

As long as both of you are aware that the world sees Wilder as far inferior to Lewis then im good.

And it seems to be the case since Lewis is winning the polls and by an order of magnitude. I'm very grateful of that

All time great Wilder must not be as good as you believe him to be

Me and NEETzschean don't see Wilder the same, exactly (I don't think). I don't actually know where NEETzschean stands on Wilder, but I think he rates him in a different way to me.

Regardless, we're all friends here, aren't we?

Comparing Deontay Wilder to Michael Grant ... is like comparing Lennox Lewis to Luis Ortiz.

    It's idiotic.

I can understand anyone picking Lewis over Wilder, or vice versa.

They were two longtime WBC champs. Lewis made 14 successful defenses over three reigns. Wilder made 10 successful defenses over one reign.

Over his 14-year career, Lewis avenged his two KO losses to defeat every man he ever faced as a pro. Over his 13-year career, Wilder knocked out every man he faced as a pro - except Fury.

Lewis was stopped twice via one-punch KOs, which Wilder specialized in. Wilder was only stopped by the current dominant World Champ, which Lewis was at one time.

Lewis finished with an excellent 41-2-1 career record. Wilder has an excellent 42-2-1 career record now, and plans to continue on.

Lewis and Wilder would be a great fight.

It would be a fascinating matchup. Neither fought anyone else like him.

The other stuff is just garbage.

Michael Grant was NO Deontay Wilder, just like Luis Ortiz was NO Lennox Lewis.

 Grant would be one of the top HWs today. He fought in a MUCH tougher era than what Deontay is in.

No. Grant was stopped by Dominick Guinn and Jameel McCline and was outpointed by Adamek. Szpilka beat all of them.
