Prime Lennox Lewis Vs Prime Larry Holmes???

Prime Lewis beats Holmes IMHO. Larry Holmes fought most of his prime at around 215lbs :deal :deal :deal Not saying size would be a deciding factor, but it cannot be overlooked. Lewis was much bigger with a similar level of skill and similar speed (Prime Lewis was faster then he gets credit for).

Also, look how each did against Tyson :hey :hey :hey (J/K )

 

Larry had a better jab than Lewis and he would of used it all night on him, Larry also had quicker hands than Lewis and alot better footwork. The only thing Lewis had better was power, and that wouldnt of mattered cause he wouldve been able to get a good right hand in over Larrys Jabs. This fight goes to a decision a lopsidded victory for Mr.Holmes, Lewis couldnt hold holmes' jock strap.

I could see this fight going so many different ways I couldn't even begin to pick a winner.

Holmes could outbox Lewis I believe - although Lewis was much bigger than any 'boxer' Holmes had to deal with.

If Lewis gets outboxed though, he can always resort to Plan B. Just ask Frank Bruno how that works out... (altho Larrys chin far better than Brunos).

There's a chance Lewis could be KO'd if behind on points and going right hand crazy too.

Having said all that, Lewis could always win on points too.

I honestly believe if you had 5 fights between these 2, they'd be completely different every time.

 

It was a joke nothing disrespectful to Lewis it was a comment Larry got in trouble with back in the 80s when he said that Dempsy couldnt hold or wear his jock.
