You dont think Holmes would win because of his competitive nature and his ability to take a good punch and still want to win? Holmes was a tough man...
......YA RIGHT....NO WAY...LENNOX COULDNT EVEN STAND UP TO MCCALL..........HECK I BET A 42 YR OLD HOLMES BEATS A 37 YR OLD LEWIS:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke
I tend to agree with this. Holmes was way to quick for him. I could however see.....if they fought 5 times....Lewis winning 1 or two of them.
Holmes Was A Very Compettive Fighter.....even When Snipes Knocked Him Down He Came Back To Win The Rd(in My Opinion)....fuk Everyone Lewis Fought Was Over The Hill To Cement His Legacy....a Totally Washed Up Tyson......a 37 Yr Old Holy.....panic Attacks Golota.....mercer Who Larry Beat Easily At 42.....mercer Gave Lewis Fits At Lewiss Prime........weaver Was Ancient When Lewis Fought Him.......bruno Beat On Lewis For 7 Rds.........ocasio Went The Distance With Lewis.......larry Knocked Him Out With A Jab.......levi Billups 10 Rds......no Way Billups Goes 10 With Larry..........lewis Overated By Beating Men Past Thier Prime
Yup, if you count Tyson case I think you should put McBride ahead of Holmes and Lewis. Only McBride was able to force Tyson to quit ... :good and he pretty easy dominated him.
I can't even begin to read that. It's a block of garbage, but the few things I did read were pretty funny. "Bruno beat on Lewis for 7 rounds". Right. And then was TKO'd because of sore fists? Your points are about as relevant as saying "If Larry Holmes could be outboxed by a blown up light heavy TWICE that Tyson KO'd in 30 seconds - then Lewis absolutely butchers Holmes". See, I don't even believe that, but it's as valid as anything you've put in that block of text.
Holmes by UD I see him having to much speed for LL, and bringing up how each fared against Tyson is retarted as Holmes was 38 and no longer in his prime fighting Tyson at his peak while Lewis fought Tyson 17 yrs after he turned pro and was shot.
..............a 38 yr old holmes would knock out a 35 yr old tyson.....no prob....so what lewis did too tyson was like marciano beating louis....IT MEANS NOTHING BUT$$$$$$$$$$$:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke
..................LARRY WASNT IN HIS PRIME WHEN SPINKS BEAT HIM......IM TALKIN BOUT 1979 TO 1982......:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke
But yet you picked specific fights to highlight Lewis's faults over the length of his whole career. If you picked the years 97 to 2000 for Lewis then most of your comments are irrelevant too, except for Holys age. If you choose to ignore the fact that he had 2 of the 3 belts at the time of course.....
Holmes`s knockdowns versus Snipes and Shavers would have been waved off today, he got up at about the same count that Lewis did versus Mccall and was in a worse state.
nah, lewis was actually older than tyson plus he had been in the ring for only 3 and a half rounds since being knocked out! Everyone said lewis was shot after the first rahman fight. You can spin it to make believe that lewis was at his prime facing an old tyson if you want but its innaccurate, lewis was severely diminished physically by the time he was 36 in that fight.
