Lewis on a razor thin points decision at their respective peaks.

I have always leaned slightly towards Lewis, Holmes can outjab Lennox certainly, but the thing is Lewis would have to then change up his game and make it a fight, I could see Holmes obliging and at that stage the edge is with Lennox.

Holmes would likely win if he fought safety first, but would he do that?

good fight..holmes would win..holmes was tuff..holmes is underrated tuff..i think he had a better jab then lewis..had a nice nasty streak in him too..lennox might be able to ko holmes if he catches him clean..but in his prime thats hard to do,, i see holmes taking a dec.,

In a 12 round fight... Holmes via razor thin decision.

15 rounds... Holmes via late stoppage

Lewis had a terrible gas tank and endurance issues. He would give him a good fight in the early rounds, taking the majority if not all of the rounds, and then likely would fade in the mid to late rounds, like he's done in a several fights, and those "championship rounds" is where Holmes THRIVES. I just can't see Lewis being able outpoint Holmes. He really would have nothing more than a puncher's chance. Which means he has relatively no chance at all against a prime Holmes.

This is one of the better "Fantasy Warfare" match-up's I have seen thus far in my short time here. These guys have a lot in common as it pertains to legacy, both being greatly under appreciated and under rated, as well as being bigger guys known for their jabs. Many things have already been stated about both fighters so I need not go about repeating the same information about the two. I believe that Holmes beats Lewis no problem. I think he'd make Lewis look slow, uncoordinated, and amateurish. If Lewis was fighting Holmes in the 90's and 2000's(Yes Holmes fought all the way into the 2000's) I'm sure Lewis in his prime would beat the aged and whethered veteran, but in a straight up contest prime for prime, Holmes is a fighter of another breed and would show his pedigree against Lewis.

Easy win for Lewis. Lennox was Cooney with 100x more skills

Cooney would have thrown Lewis a beating as well.

I go with holmes on this one, a fight where toughness wins the fight, the fortitude that holmes had out wieghts the lewis physical advantage and strategic mind.Holmes decision 12

    Lewis by big KO!

Lennox the Lion was basically the only verastile BIG man. He could box, and brawl. Holmes has never faced anyone like Lewis. It would be close, but Lennox would land that right hand and send him to his ass.

If Lewis really takes this to Holmes I see LL gassing in the late rounds and getting stopped by the ref. Otherwise Holmes UD.

Would be an interesting fight tho.
