Am surprised by people voting for Lenni and even saying he will knock Larry out, based on what?

Larry has only ever been KO'd by a peak Tyson while Lenni has been starched by single shots the face twice in his prime. Secondly even if Larry gets knocked down, has he not proven in his career that he has a warrior like fighting heart and that he can get up to fight another day?

Secondly which boxer i.e. pure boxer of Larry's quality and heart has Lenni faced in his career?

If Lewis goes for Broke and Larry weathers the storm he will make Lenni pay dearly in the later rounds.

Larry is the odds on favorite.

Holyfield is superior to Holmes in every dept besides the jab and that's close, Holy had a great double jab.

Too many people see the size difference and just think because Lewis is clearly so much bigger than anyone Holmes fought when he lands the power will be too much for him.

This is a flawed view. Holyfield was a small heavyweight, yet he took the best off of Foreman, Tyson and Lewis, only Bowe stopped him when he had hepatitis.

Lewis couldn't KO Mavrovic either who was a similar size compared to Holmes and Lewis hit him with everything he had. Holmes chin was well proven, I'd be very surprised if Lewis could stop him in his prime.

Holmes 78/82 and possibly 91, would beat Lewis. He'd confuse him with the jab and outwork Lennox down the stretch, either winning by unanimous decision or late round stoppage. I think Lewis would have his moments early on and possibly stun Holmes with that right hand but overall Holmes would be too smart and would eventually get the better of Lewis down the stretch, would be a good fight though.

cant see how Lewis crushes Holmes, who had a great chin. I think Holmes outboxes Lennox to a sound points win, he would outwork him, Lewis had a low work rate. I think even old Holmes gives him problems. I think the Tyson loss damages Larry's legacy and people look to it as some kind of evidence but he was horribly under prepared and looked nothing like how sharp he was in his prime. Prime Holmes was a beast, fast, good movement and killer instinct, heart of a lion. the man is underrated...

Holmes like Ali needed the jab to set everything up..Lewis simply takes that away from him.Lewis was not a precise sharp jabber like Holmes but hes the lengthier guy witha powerful one who could out muscle Holmes on the inside.looking at this actual match up, i would concede Holmes maybe wins 1 out of 5...but theres no actual fight to think he would win this one. Lewis really only lost by getting hit HARD.Holmes was not remotley a power puncher ..his added shots did wear guys down but Lewis has both size and ring IQ,lewis certanly possses more difficulties than Norton did who also was a decent jabber. And had a razor thin fight with Holmes.

Boxer vs boxer/Puncher? Its a decent fight but competitve doesnt mean close.I see this as a slow paced fight between two top jabbers, one is just to physically strong for the other and could also fight effectively on the inside.Holmes could survive bc of his jab and speed that will make lewis have to slow down.

Lewis UD. Holmes had survival skills and was very crafty but out pointing Lewis? i dont see it.

I am sorry but this is very unconvincing to say the least.

Holmes is actually the better infighter. Also Holmes is recognized as the best jabber of all times at heayvweight but you think Lewis will just take his jab away.

Holmes movement, jab, hand speed and workrate would earn him a UD.

The BEST jabber doesnt win every fight we saw that last week when Wlad lost...the better all around fighter does. Holmes also didnt like fighting taller guys because he excelled at straight line jabs..Cooney at 6'5 for example gave him all he could handle and actually almost made Holmes quit in rnd 2/3 with a very hard body shot all in all he was abl;e to stay with holmes most rounds. You can believe what you like lewis is the easy favorite here....Holmes vs early 90's Lewis???With Steward around he loses. Lewis has more to go weapons beyond the jab,no brainer.

Holmes better in fighter? Really what fight does he show this?
