Prime Lennox Lewis vs Prime Mike Tyson

Na, my best guess is a prime Tyson goes all the way to a 8-4 UD loss, but perhaps a late stoppage isnt out of the question if Lewis really pushed for it.

lewis has the tools to stop or outpoint prime Tyson, but I am not sure he can maintain the full concentration for the entire fight to make that plan work.

Lewis ties him down, leans on him and destroys him. Tyson is helpless against getting hugged aggressively. Prime Tyson or not makes zero difference.

Actually, i think its a 50/50 fight, prime Tyson was better than any one of Lewis opponents and obviously vice versa.

For the idiot above who claimed Lewis beat Tuson up in sparring, that story is a load of **** which has snowballed into fact. Tyson beat the **** out of Lewis, it was Bruno who handled Tyson in sparring. Lewis all but admits this in the HBO documentary where he claimed after sparring Tysonnhe said i hope i don't ever fight this guy, hes an animal.

If Lewis so easily handled Tyson as amateurs....why was so he so afraid when they actually fough? He didn't dare throw a right hand until Tyson was a standing punch bag.

Lewis himself said that first round with Tyson was one of his most intense.

Afterwards he made up the story of how hed hurt his hand, his hand was perfectly fine, he was just worried about throwing it because he knew he could get kod himself.

Tyson is so short, he is so easy to hug. He's not match for any tall and skilled fighter who knows how to tie down a shorter man.

Obviously if we had ref's who'd DQ fighters this is a different game. Tyson would have a chance of winning by DQ. But otherwise, no chance.

At any rate, how can you say Mike beat the **** out of Lewis when they sparred as youths? I never heard that. Do you have a source?
As far as Lewis hurting his hand, I always thought he hurt his hand THROWING the right hand upside Mikes head in the 2nd or 3rd. Those shots looked brutal, and Mike was a beast for taking them. What makes you so sure Lewis made up the hand injury? I dont know why he would do that
