As a fan of both i think this could play differently in best of 10 for example. But boxing doesn't work that way. I would favor Lewis. 60-40 to be fair.

For what it's worth, I would have to go with Lewis aswell, could Wlad beat Lennox, of course but being put on the spot and having to pick a winner, it's Lewis for me. Wlad is unlikely to consistently out jab Lewis and for anybody to suggest Wlads chin was better than Lewis chin, I simply cannot agree with that at all. I like Wlad more than Lewis, so I would prefer to pick him but I can't.

Wlad wouldn't be able to hold onto Lewis like he usually did when he faced smaller Hws or Cruisers.
Wlads jab might give Lewis some problems, but Lewis catches up and gets a late stoppage.

Lewis would beat Wlad, Aj and Fury on the same night

Lewis' - 3 inch reach advantage, counter punching, better head movement, better lateral movement, can fight on the inside, can clinch offensively and defensively, better punch variety, especially with the uppercut, more versatile jab.

Wlad - 1 inch height advantage, faster hands, possibly more one punch power, more consistent and less likely to take risks.

In terms of how it would play out. Lewis does what he always did against big heavyweights, takes it too them. Wlad as we all know is more defensively minded and as he doesn't like to trade or even counter punch, he'd be backed up and will try to use his faster hands to get off first and then clinch.

Problem he has is Lewis has the reach advantage only an inch less than Fury's, Wlad will need to step into range to land his shots he can't do what he usually does and box from a safe distance, so he's more likely to be the one caught coming in or countered and once Lewis gets up close, Wlad will not be able to dominate like he usually does as Lewis is just as adept at clinching and mauling up close but is also skilled offensively on the inside.

9/10 I think Lewis KO's Wlad. Lewis can counter much of what Wlad usually does and was just the more versatile fighter, Lewis can switch things up if they don't go his way early but Wlad in contrast can really only fight the one way. That 1/10 when Wlad KO's Lewis is simply when Lewis shows up and under performs, he could be inconsistent, could forget to use his jab at times as he looked to KO his opponents early, that Lewis could definitely find himself being counted out against Wlad who was always on his game.

Lewis.. Battle of the jabs but Lewis simply has more weapons to hurt Wlad including a brutal fight ending uppercut that Wlad wouldn't handle on the inside. A better chin and punch power is a toss up.

Lewis pretty much did everything a little better than Wlad. Not to mention, beating much better opponents AND avenging his losses.

The reach advantage doesnt mean as much when Wlad has the hand- and footspeed over Lewis. Wlad has to think about Lewis right hand but Lewis has to think about both KO threat hands from Wlad. I can see either Wlad early or Lewis late. Most likely that Wlad catches him first. Lewis had more grit than Wlad but he was no Joe Joyce type of fighter with a great chin and stamina. So that tactic would most probably not work for him. Wlad KO

Wlads jab is better, his straight right and left hook is better, he is way faster, hands and feet. Imo wlad outboxes Lennox or knocks him early out, because he will get faster to lewis chin than vice versa.

In one night for sure not. Will beat Wlad and AJ, might be winning over Usyk, might even beat Fury, but will struggle the most with the latter, possibly even loose. No point of overexaggerating how good he really was.

Is there any reason these 2 never fought?
