Whoa ! Lennox Lewis did not have a glass jaw.Ok,he didn't have the jaw of Ray Mercer but it was
reasonably solid. No way could Lennox be described as ' glass '- jawed.

I always hate when people say Lewis has a glass chin, he was in tough fights and took flush punches vs the likes of Mason, Briggs, Mercer, Vitali, Bruno. You don't have a glass chin if you can take solid punches off those fighters.

Wladimir on the other hand when he got stopped numerous times, wasn't confident in exchanging punches. So developed his jab and grab safety first approach.

    Big difference between the two.

What do you think is going to happen when Wlad grabs hold of Lewis within the first 5- 10 seconds of round 1? He's going to get blasted with a Lewis uppercut like Vitali did.

Lewis was spiteful in the clinch and wasn't there just to take rests and reset the action. Lewis was dirty on the inside with fists not with hugs and thats why he would be Wlads worst nightmare.

Cheers Dynamic, Lewis allegedly having a 'glass' chin is
one of those bizarre myths that persists with some folks.

This is actually true. Wlad wouldn't survive that uppercut in a fit.

There’s maybe only half a dozen heavyweights in history who prime Lewis doesn’t beat.

Wlad ain’t one of them. Nor is Vitali for that matter.

I would say the best version of Lennox stops the best version of Wlad.

Remember Lewis knew how to beat Wlad. He gave Sanders the blueprints and he got the job done in two round
