i guess he's saying that when a 38 year old with millions in the bank, declining motivation, and a hof career who turns down a big payday to beat another man again.....it means he would've lost to that guy in his prime when he was young and in shape.

Lewis's prime was late 90s. guys can have off nights in their prime anyway. if you want to argue that lewis was in his prime in 01 and just undertrained for the first fight with rahman when he lost, fine with me.

But Lewis was indeed inactive for a year, almost 38, and undertrained when he beat Vitali.

what i do know is that he showed up in poor shape (the last time he showed up unprepared, rahman laid him out) and still beat brittley.
