I agree. Leonard was maybe the fastest fighter I ever saw at welter. Mayw. is fighting limited slow guys now. Even Mosely was old. But look what his speed did to land that right hand until he turned and fought to survive. (In the same rd as he hurt Mayw.) no less. Leonnard was faster and threw in combo. Hit harder, had no dog in him and moved at speed and anngles that Mahas never seen. This speed and angles would produce the opening for the wobbler that leads to a 99 punch flurry to end it.

I like Leonard in this...but I do think Mayweather's own speed and brilliant defense gives Ray plenty of problems. Leonard would be forced into the role of aggressor, which he could do very well. Also he is more capable of hurting Floyd than Floyd is hurting him. Leonard would find Mayweather hard to hit cleanly, and would attempt to draw Floyd's offense out and then try to capitalize when Floyd did let his hands go. I marvel at Floyd's defense, but Leonard has been in against so much better competition, and has proven himself a truly great fighter...I like Leonard by UD. The rounds Leonard takes will be more decisive.

I want to say leonard but then I think of the problems that speedy, slippery fighters

gave him so I got to give Floyd at least a 50/50 to pull off the upset. leonard could only fight going backwards. Look at the Norris & Duran fights

    See what I mean?

I would but then I took into account the showing with larry Bonds. He looked very ordinary against a man who was moving away from him. Now imagine Floyd in there with Sugar.

I believe that Floyd would bewitch, bother, N bewilder Sugar with moves that were quick, slick, & would undoubtedly make Sugar sick

That's what happened in the Norris fight. check it out. what do u see?

I remember the nite I saw it live. I took my Aussie frends with me to see it. Those who saw him swore he was so good, he must be half kangaroo

anyways, m'man had Sugar psyched out & retreating by the third. TN was just TOO SWEET!

I think the gr8 Maywather would have no problems either. and remember, Floyd is multiple title champion-never lost and could hardly be confused with Floyd sr who couldnt crack the top 10

    Leonard!

Benitez's slickness and defense exceeds Mayweather's. Leonard beat him early on.

Duran and Hearns were 10x the Mayweather offense, Leonard stood up.

Though both are "The Brothers Machiavelli" outside of the ring, angling for advantages, avoiding guys for as long as politically possible, and anything but fearless, Leonard is far more ferocious and secure as a competitor in the ring than Floyd.

Floyd throws cheap shots. Floyd breaks commitments to come in 2 lbs over the contracted weight against a damn lightweight.

--Leonard's class would be like Cary Grant to Floyd's manbearpig.

Leonard has too much, inside and out, for the whole Mayweather clan. I don't see Mayweather coping with that offense. He'll look good or great for 5 rounds, but Leonard's got too much height, speed, power, and versatility for him.

If anyone can present a case for PBF winning, I still haven't read it.
