nah don't think it's gonna be that intresting. bowe wins easy.. leotis got lucky with his ko of sonny but was behind on points against an almost ancient liston. there is no way he stands a chance against a prime bowe

Bowe, easily. Leotis' reputation is basically based on that rather lucky win over Liston. I am not taking away anything from Martin. He was a fine fighter in his own right. But Bowe is clearly the better fighter.

interestingly enough, I think Martin had potential, but I don't see him being a good fight for Bowe.

Leotis would simply be too small, what was he for Ellis 190-192lb ? When Ellis opened up on Leotis he looked a little lost, when Big Riddick does so i think the effects will be much more dramatic, Gotta Go with Bowe.

Don't you know that size is totally irrelevant when comparing modern day fighters with their predecessors? Those guys played a better ball game back then.. The farther back we go, the better the man, and the higher the invincibility.....

haha, weight is weight, especially when the guy with the weight advantage is highly skilled on the inside and outside, with quick hands

Bowe beats the **** out of him, but the real nightmare would begin for the fans during the postfight interview with Leotis..the guy couldn't talk coherantly if his life depended on it.

lets be honest you could bet on the bowe who beat holyfeild the first time as having the goods. Bowe had a lot of disapointing fights where he had all the advantages. eddie gonzales, tubbs, hide, donnald, golata, mathis jnr, elija tillery and the rematch with holyfeild that prove a lot of so-so and good fighters could be an awkward night for bowe since he could be unfocused.

leotis does not have the same pedigree but he was tough and as big as holyfeild and hide. Bowe beat herbie hide but he was troubled with him, luckerly hide did not have the seasoning or the chin to cash in on the sucsess he made bowe look open and oaf like.

    I still pick Bowe.

As long as Bowe came in under 245, I'd pick him.

Mr Magoo, - it was not a general question i was responding to - It Was Leotis Martin Vs Riddick Bowe ! - are you seriously suggesting that Bowe's ...40lb (?) pull in weight has no bearing whatsoever ?? (Are you Blind...:D)

I'm afraid i can not ignore such a size differential not least because Riddick, when honed, was a skilled capable performer in his own right, and would utilise this advantage, and i do not think Leotis will ever be mistaken for Holyfield.

In my Humble Riddick's long heavy Jab would prove to be a rather nasty starter for Leotis, and when Riddick decides to serve up the main course...a main course with 40lbs of extra garnish.....Bon appitte !
