Lewis did not get KTFO from green to his prime, he got up and beat the count against McCall. It was a poor decision by the ref to stop the defending champion in a heavyweight world title fight like that.

He did get sparked by Rahman but it is well documented that he was out of shape, trained poorly and was more interested in appearing in Ocean's 11 than getting ready for a title defence. Klitschko got cut quite early against Lewis (it was in the 3rd). Also the TKO was in the 6th.

How can anyone say that Klitschko dominated and would have won the fight if it went the distance? A fight lasts 12 rounds and if one guy can't continue due to very bad cuts caused by punches, even with a slight lead on the cards (2 rounds at most), with half the fight still to go, then tough **** you got TKO'd deservedly! Anything could have happened if the bout continued, so many fights have changed course in the mid to late rounds. Remember Vitali's eye was ****ed and Lewis kept jabbing away at it comprimising Klitschko's vision. For all we know if the fight went on Lewis could have KO'd Vitali with a punch he couldn't see.
