Why don't you tell us how you really feel about it. Btw, rather than blame Lewis for not giving Vitali a rematch why don't fans look in the mirror and focus on why Vitali couldn't get Lewis out of there in the 6 round that he had. An up and coming champ would have found away to do it, especially when Lewis was hurt in the 2nd round.

For you it matters but we are talking about who is the better boxer and that fact was proven.

Prime LL would have Vitali out of there in no more than 2 rounds!

In their actual fight Vitali did well and landed a few clean right hands which the poorest version of LL just laughed off. The biggest threat to Lewis winning was the possibility that, being unfit, he might run out of steam and he upped the ante from the end of round two.

From round 3 onwards LL was walking Vitali down and despite some resilliance from VK he just out bombed him and in particular he landed some sickening uppercuts.

The damage to VKs eye was caused by a smart one-two at the beggining of round 3 and that was the end for VKs night.

IMO the cut allows VK and his nuthuggers the opportunity to speculate and rant about what might have been but without the cut VK was on the way to ruin at LL hands.

IMO if a rematch had happened you would see a fit and prepared Lewis come out and destroy VK inside of 2 rounds and that again would see the end of Vitali's career.

So, despite being the official reason for VK losing to Lewis, the cut, actually saves Vks career.

Yep. And Vitali couldn't beat a worse version of Lewis than the one that McCall or Rahman beat. Sad, but true.

Bull****. Even with those cuts, Yes Lewis was landing on Vitali while Vitali had a bad and bleeding cut over and under his eye. No cut, Lewis gets KO'd. They cut did happen and Lewis did win (Facts). Could Lewis get LUCKY like that and win every fight if they fought again, not a F*****G chance! Wake up people, Lewis is an ATG, but , overrated by many if you ask me.

If you watched the fight, the same grazing punch caused the cut above Vitali's eye and 2 smaller cuts below the eye. As swelling progressed they got worse. The reason for stoppage was not the cuts themselves but that the swelling from the cut above the eye was blocking the line of sight.

One thing must be remebered, king vitali was not 100 % ready for the fight, he was only the substitute and had a little time to prepare for the fight!

It did, but it was a variation of a lacing punch (unintentional on the part of Lewis as Vitali was leaning back). Lewis got away with that one. That's why I said the cut was accidental.
