Prime at 126 I favour Inoue based on styles. Loma like he usually does is forced to press due to having the shorter reach and going at the counter punching Inoue and fighting him at mid range with Inoue's power is a recipe for disaster. It would be competitive for sure but in the end I don't think you beat Inoue by going at him, much like going at Pacquiao was a big no, no, same with Inoue. So Inoue probably wins a decision, dropping Loma at least once enroute to getting the victory.
Inoue is hyped right now and people will say he would win I say Loma is very good with small guys and his footwork is the key when fighting big punchers. Loma is on you for all 12 rounds. This content is protected
Know your limits. Inoue effectiveness at 126 etc would drop just like Lomas has at 135.. even tho he was jobbed hes not quite as good at 135 as he was lower down. Prime Loma would beat Inoue. He was totally unique, probably turned pro a bit too late tho & has struggled with injury so we missed a lot with him. Both are special. Loma was better. I dont rate Fulton like some do either.
People picking Fulton over Inoue probably thought the same with Inoue's move to 122. I think Inoue has the frame for 126 and be able to perform fine, 5'5" isn't short for a featherweight. It's at 130 where I think size will become a factor for Inoue.
Inoue more explosive and slightly more athletic Loma has a bit more in his arsenal and better inside Loma has the edge defensively but Inoue’s defence is very good Nothing to back this up but I think Loma may have a better chin I’m going very slight edge to Loma if they fought prime for prime, 55-45, but I’d be rooting for Inoue in the fight
Loma would destroy him with absolute ease. Inoue is smaller than Loma, and Lomachenko makes it look easy against smaller guys
That's a toughy. Loma more proven against better quality opponents. He has fought better opposition than your FULTON level boxers. He would NO MAS FULTON with ease.Inoue is a dangerous fight for Loma. But Loma style is all wrong for Inoue and he is bigger. I think he schools Inoue. Too much angles that Inoue never seen in his career.
Inoue would struggle, Loma is too good of a boxer and bigger. I see a 8-4 9-3 type of fight. He beat Haney by that score quite easily and Haney is huge in comparison. With smaller guys Loma makes it look sad, and it would be sad for Inoue. 130lb is as far as it can go for Inoue and that would be incredibly impressive.
The man has lost a handful of rounds out of 146 boxed across a decade long career where he's DESTROYED the #1 in 4 separate weight divisions. He's exhibited elite ability across the board with exceptional speed and frightening power. Never count Inoue out.
