I say prime king kong would mutilate Wilder early.

Deontay would go down hard in this one.
Deontay would be crawling on canvas.

Ortiz was in his prime in the late 1970s wasn't he?

do not know what a prime ortiz was like
never saw him as an amatuer and he never turned pro until his prime was gone

he would have had many good fights with other cubans .

he is not prime now / but can maintain a good level as he has no miles on the clock as a pro hardly anyone has been a threat to him.

only problem i see is will he bring the cuban heavy mentality with him of if he gets hurt .
    will he fold easily ?

    no idea

2 days time we will find out as wilder will hit him in this fight and he is going to have to bite down and fire back .

orlander solis and jose luis gonzales folded with rediculous ease in title efforts.

Ortiz turned pro just before his 31st birthday, I doubt we ever saw a prime Ortiz as a pro.

Might still be close to prime if he is 38, much like Povetkin.

this ridiculous facade of picking a guy so old that he can be relied on to gass out after a few rounds so that he can be helplessly clubbed to death by a flyweight, makes a mockery of the HW title.

Someone bring back the days of Lewis and Holyman, when a man was a man.

Prime Ortiz wouldn't get past Deontay's VADA drugtesting, so fight would never happen.
Neither would prime RJJ, prime Holyfield, prime Povetkin, prime Toney etc.

Prime Wilder or current Wilder? That Wilder who fought Nichols goes through fire and brimstone but loses by a late stoppage. Current Wilder skips the fire and brimstone part and goes straight to getting KTFO.
