    its like saying look at maidana vs mayweather

    so that means just because mayweather had issue with maidana that means he cant beat better fighters more convincingly then maidana?

    Yep and Martinez unlike Margarito would be giving Manny a ton of lateral movement and be nailing Pacquiao with counters over and over again, can you imagine the effect an 170 fighter landing flush bombs to Manny's chin while Manny is walking head first into them would have.:scaredas:Who's a southpaw, who hits far harder than a Marquez on roids, who's a natural MW, with a longer reach and the same height as Margarito. It wouldn't be a pretty sight.

    How many southpaws possessing 1-punch KO power (esp. with the counter overhand left, the mirror image of the shot that brought us KTFO6) that were naturally several divisions larger than him did Pac face, again?

    Martinez had the speed, movement and stance to nullify Pac's offense and more than enough hand speed, timing and ring vision to set him up for a huge counter (and Pac can NOT take Martinez's best, no way in hell)

    cotto and margo hit alot harder then marquez and torrcempo

    Pac took punchers from much harder punchers then marquez

    the marquez shot was a freak shot was proved by how many flush shots Pac took from marquez without going down in 4 fights

    sergio was never known for his power though

    its was his timing

    sometimes you dont have to be the biggest puncher but if you time a fighter coming in and hit them right on the jaw its over

    Exactly. And that reckless bunny hop of Pac didn't ever get him caught by shots he didn't see coming? Hell, it happened in all four Marquez fights (but never as definitively as that last time) and even crude slow guys like Marg gave him a receipt for dashing in. Timing matters, and you acknowledge that Sergio had it ...and his power was MORE THAN enough to lay Pac out if he was timed and caught flush with it.
