You made punch stats the issue. Amusing questions, and two you didn't answer.
Punch stats are an issue, not a more admirable effort in context. Vitali can throw a 1000 punches a round but he would never be described as setting a fast pace because his style was reactionary.
Punch stats are an issue, not a more admirable effort in context. Vitali can throw a 1000 punches a round but he would never be described as setting a fast pace because his style was reactionary. Stupid questions to artifically justify a dumb statement.
My original statement was that Dempsey, Frazier, and Tyson were all faster paced swarmers than Marciano ,and I stand by it. ARTIFICALLY ? WHOSE DUMB NOW? atsch
They do. Mcvey was asking which is more "Admirable" which is stupid. He also tried to imply we saying Marciano set a fast pace based solely off volume punching which is not the case. It's The punching plus the pressure.
You forgot a comma is correct. Forgot a comma implies you are referring to yourself. I use too many comma's ,it's a habit. I'll try not to let it affect me adversely.:-(
No, the absence of a subject does not default to a possessive. You need to study more. Its a informal statement, appropriate for a boxing message board accessed via cellphone. Unlike you, I have no pretense of this being formal literature. Therefore the standards of formal English do not apply to me, but if you are to knock others for being informal it would look better if you stuck to the rules.
If you lack the grey matter to make such a statement, than there is nothing I can do to walk you through the absurdity of that ****ogy. Stick to poor "Formal English" lessons.
I couldn't care less about grammar and punctuation on a web site.My only stricture is pompous prats like yourself and Mendozy who call others dumb ,stupid etc ,when you are both as thick as sh*t. You're right about one thing, the standards of formal English certainly do not apply to you.:verysad
Marciano has perpetual movement and throws 40+ power punches a round with ko intentions. That is much better than 70 arm punches on the back foot.
I would think so. Pressure and punch rate has been confused with tempo and pace. Four entirely different things. Setting a high pace and having a fast pace are two different things also. If a fighter controls pace, he can throw the most punches. More than he ordinarily would because he's the one in his comfort zone. He can also determine his opponents output. If his opponent controls pace over him he can make it so uncomfortable that the other guy is too tired reacting to that pace to punch back as often as he ordinarily would. Brining a klitchko into this is sheer lunacy. All Giants must control pace so everything they do, the number of punches they throw is all determined by them dictating a pace THAT SUITS THEM. A fighter good enough to control a pace and setting one that is uncomfortable for a giant (almost impossible these days) will severely reduce the output of the giant. So a giant producing a number of punches on one occasion is only relative to who he is fighting for that one occasion. It is relative only to what that victim allowed him to do. This cannot be labeled as a regular average output for the giant. It's crazy.
Are you going to stalk me again? Like the time I ignored your posts for about a month and when I took you off, saw you had been following me around and calling me names. I think you replied to well over 100 posts straight without so much as a single reply or acknowledgement from me. You just kept going...saddest thing I saw on a message board.
