Prime Margarito beats Cotto any day!

both of them looked much worse than they did in the first fight. cotto's boxing was much better in the first fight. just my opinion. they had both fallen off by the second fight. margo off a damn cliff.

 

People seem to forget Cotto was handily winning the first fight until the cement kicked in.

Really, Cotto should be 2-0 with Cheato.

 

I don't understand why this video keeps coming up. the scene at the end is kinda funny but he got in and whooped cotto so doesn't make sense.

he aslo told marg to make a name for himself and WIN his next fights. he beats ssm he would of got the fight but he got destroyed, badly.

context fellas, he fights marg then he is fighting a nobody that is called a cherry pick. marg had to get some good wins to make the fight sellable but he wasn't capable. that's wouldn't be fighting the best and everyone knows it.


I agee tho, that marg could be cottos kript prior to getting a real trainer. those 2 fight against marg were both losable as he lost the first due to his lack of stamina.

nobody knows if he had enough to last to the end in the second fight. he was so far ahead he should had been able to fight ugly enough to win it. marg used to have a chance to beat cotto in margs prime

 

I also don't see what people saw in the 2nd fight, cotto was never hurt or looked any where close to being stopped. In the first fight by the 9th round, margo had already slowed down cotto and was landing huge shots, that didint happen in the 2nd fight. People now are just overrating Margo to credit pacquiao, its clear because *******s will say on their post "he made Floyd chicken" instead of really making a thread about Margo.

I've been turned against marg from idiots on this friggin board. some fighters I was a fan of are now not even close to my guys thanks 100% to clowns in this board.

but what I will tell you guys is I don't even think any of you knew who marg was when he was "prime" I don't think most on this board even know what prime means, all most of you do is take a fighters best win in NAME and say that was his prime since he beat so and so.

marg was NOT in his prime anymore when he fought cotto either time. even the PW fight marg was past his best, his best was a long time ago and he was actually a way better, more technical even faster fighter many moons ago.

once he "made" it, he was already past his best and started relying on being the bigger stronger guys. that was not always the case. go watch some of his fights from before he was a "name" then watch him fighting championship fights.

difference was both were older, Margarito more because of his style, Cotto ran more and Margarito had one eye. ppl will say after the scandal margarito never one but thats due to the step up in competition. Pacquiao and Cotto are no walk in the park and he fought Pacquiao whem Pac was on top of his game

Cotto beat MargoCHEATO to a bloody pulp, WITHOUT CONCRETE in his gloves.

Cotto barely beat a shot, one eye fighter. He also took 9+ rounds to beat a shot, one shouldered and legless Martinez. Lucky for him, Martinez was still champ.:deal

 

Margarito only had one good eye from round 2 but was ready to make Cotto quit AGAIN!!
