Prime Margarito v Prime Vargas @154

Vargas of course. To fast, also was pretty big at 154. Prime Vargas would just have to many weapons for Margarito. And being as how Margarito is a willing target I could see Vargas bullying him landing more than half his power shots and getting rid of him sooner than Mosley did.

 

If Shane can KO Margo so can EL FEROZ.

Sorry but Vargas has never beat any fighter in their prime he lost all of his big fights what would make you think he could beat a prime Margarito???

 

Because a prime Margarito has been exposed as a cheating **** who constantly picks on smaller guys, and can't handle the bigger guys, even at 154, as proven against Santos. He has also been shown up to be a slow, plodding fighter with zero defence, capable of being dropped and stopped.

Would Margarito have won any of the fighters Vargas lost? Would he have beaten Trinidad at 154? DLH back in 2002? Shane Mosley (obviously not)?

 

He lost to big power hitters who have some slick moves. Tito was great with his head movement and speed. And Shane is Shane. And it took Oscar quite sometime to do it. All those fighters tasted canvas except Shane, but at that point he went through a lot already.

Margarito can't deal with power above 147...Anything from serious hitters at 154 and up are too much.

 

He beat two excellent fighters in there prime. Winky Wright and Ike Quartey. Prime Vargas destroys Margarito.

 

you cant say you know that for sure or not its just like asking you who would win Louis or Ali you just cant say for sure this is how it would be you just dont ****ing know, what I do know is Vargas has been dropped by little guys such as Rivera but i also know your come back that was after Tito destroyed him, here is mine though, Tito didnt destroy Vargas, Tito was the first live guy Vargas fought since Winky and he lost, just as he did with Winky.

and Vargas has also been exposed as a steroid cheating ****, and actually Vargas has been proven guilty so far Margarito has not.

 

He didnt beat Winky, Ike was not in his prime, Ike had come off of like a three year lay off and his fight with Vargas was his first at 154, please try again.

Vargas is bigger, faster, more talented, better defense and the only thing that Margo might on Vargas is chin, but that didn't help him last saturday and there's no way Margarito can hurt Vargas. Margarito would be completely outclassed and dominated ala Mosley.

I said this before the the Mosley fight that this would be the battle of the overrated fighters but still stick with my previous pick Vargas. He's a step above Margo.

 

He beat Winky and Quartey. Two quality wins, and he gave Tito and DLH all they could handle.
