Berto isn't that good, and we saw the pressure that The Tree brought to him, and beat him with...Margo would be bringing more pressure, and is the bigger, stronger, more durable guy than Tree.

 

That was a close fight that could have gone either way. It's not like The Tree dominated Berto of something. Margo is a big slow moving target and Berto would tee off on him. If Berto can stand up to Victor's attack he can stand up to Margo's who isn't as explosive or hit as hard without his plaster.

 

I have always felt that Berto cannot fight going backwards and he tires in the late rounds. My pick is Margo beats him by late stoppage.

I haven't seen Margo beat or come close to beating anyone decent after the plaster situation, I just don't have faith in him.. That being said, Berto has shown he gasses and didn't seem to recover well in the Ortiz fight after being hurt. I don't think Berto will T/KO Margarito but he's capable of winning a UD. No plaster Margarito won't T/KO Berto either. Margarito takes his beating with nonstop stalking and possibly wins a UD because of 'effective aggression'.
