WHY do we have to do this everytime a guy has a good win? Why are they all automatically matched up against greats, when they are nowhere near the same level? Do you just want to see Margarito destroyed, or is it like some unstoppable knee jerk?
hearns would knock margarito out. its one thing getting hit by cotto 280 times, but hearns hit twice as hard.
Wow. Read my post again. I said, I'M NOT SURE and you get all personnal like this? Having love issues? Yo mama didn't give you enough love? You insecure?
I don't think Margo would win, but if Tommy fights a stupid fight, it's possible, albeit unlikely- bigger upsets have happened. That's why I see the fight going down as I posted a few pages back. The only way Hearns could do enough to stop him cold is to use a riskier fight plan that frankly, Hearns would very likely be smart enough to avoid since using the jab, countering once or twice with moderately powerful shots, and then moving laterally would make the fight much, much easier for him. I think that would get him either a nice points win, or someone would stop the fight due to too much accumulated damage. Tommy obviousy had devastating, explosive one punch power- but the risk he runs by using the gameplan he'd need by the "Hearns by death" crowd is that in the time it takes him to set up and get full torque into it, Margo's already closed the distance and in his grill- which takes Tommy out of his best element and possibly draws him into a brawl, which he loved to do a little too much at times. That gives Margarito much more of a shot than he ought to have.
I find it unreal that people do not think Hearns would knock out Margarito. Hearns if he had a solid chin would have been the greatest fighter of all time.
Thomas` laser like jab splitting Margarito`s gloves,in comes Hearns blistering right cross. Fight over! Not to mention Herans had a beautiful left hook to the body to soften his opponents up. He put Duran and Cuevas, right on their faces. I just don`t see any fighter who is right in front of you, and hittable. Standing up after tasting Hearns. Devastating one punch power, and an unbelievable finisher...
