I have Hagler winning somewhat convincingly. Any takers?

Lads, I wrote the title thread wrong. It should have read prime Hagler v 168 pound Virgil Hill because as we all know, Marv never fought at 168. Apologies. Any takers?

Hagler would have to be 8 pounds lighter come fight night.

    Already at a disadvantage.

But who do you like in a proposed matchup?

I haven't actually seen an awful lot of Hill.

You'd think he could outjab the smaller man and keep him at bay though.

    Hill outboxes Hagler.

Could probably circle all night long.

He couldn't keep Darius or Jones off of him and they both have shorter reaches than Hagler.

Could Marvin wear the extra eight or so pounds without losing any of his efffectiveness ? If yes, then he outpoints Hill.

    I'm being silly.

In all honesty Hagler carries the extra weight well, punishes Hill and stops him late on.

Cheers. I simply don't rate Hill very highly.
