Sugar ray, sugar ray, sugar ray baby. Always unpredictable, fast and deadly. Alot of people underrate his power, but this guy banged. BAM BAM boogie and never stopped the boogie.. FMJ's dad couuld take a punch, unfortunately Floyd cannot.

Floyd simply wouldnt move up to welter , infact if we are talking prime Loenard , then Floyd would have to come up from super feather as he wouldnt want anything of Duran at Lightweight either.

Very tough fight for Ray, but even tougher fight for Floyd.
Ray is faster, more powerful, taller, ect.
Ring IQ is debatable. I'd favor Ray and that's a very big compliment.

Sorry Ball , I know you have support Floyd, but in reality he would have been known as a nice little fighter.

The likes of Duran , Benitez , Hearns would have kept Floyd well away from the 147 title .

Floyd fights at 130 no higher and wouldnt have been unbeaten through 40 fights.

Mayweather's prime weight is not at 147 pounds. This fight is a physical mismatch in favor of SRL who started his career there. It's like comparing SRL to an ATG at super-middleweight/light-heavyweight, which are not his "prime" weight classes either.

SRL, Floyd doesn't have the offense to handle him.

You did , but you also said it would be a tough night for Ray.

The only thing tough about it how Ray spends his 20 million between the x wives.

Ray can win convincingly and still be a tough fight. I think Floyd would try to box from the outside, but will take the fight to the pocket in the later rounds when he realizes that he's down on cards. Up close Floyd is harder to hit than Ray is, but Ray has more power and maybe smarts

With all due respect, he does claim to be the best ever. If he was, 12 lbs won't hurt to beat someone he himself claims let a lightweight (Duran)come up and beat him.

Ray is 5 10 and could knock out light heavies.

Floyd is 5 8 (maybe) and doesnt stop average welters.

Ray is quicker with a 2 inch reach advantage - so Floyd aint doing anything on the outside.

In the pocket Floyd is not as defensively alert as Benitez and Ray mudered Benitez in the pocket.

Floyd isnt anywhere near the scorecards if it goes to the later rounds.

I dont see Floyd getting past about 8 rounds in a onesided affair.

In the 80's Floyd is a very good Super feather , but does not mix it with Hearns , Ray, Duran or Benitez.

I like Ray Leonard in this one. Floyd Mayweather has the skills and boxing smarts to pull of the upset, but Leonard is a little bit better, has a size advantage over Mayweather. Most importantaly he will use that size to controll distance. Mayweather can win if he can lure Leonard into a fight and counter him, but I see Leonard making it a boxing match and winning a decision.

I know how good Ray is and I know he'd out box Floyd from the outside. He'd probably beat Floyd in the pocket too, but that's where I think Floyd will have his most success.
