If 5ft8 Carpentier could school 6ft6 Williard. Then sure 1999 Mayweather can school much less skilled Wilder by 12 round UD.
Wilder punches harder than Willard and always stays on the outside, every time he jabs Mayweather won`t able to counter because his much shorter arms would be so far away.
That ain't nothing but Jim Beam and pork juice mixed into a drink and we call this "Lard Ass"!!! Fat back Bacon fat ass back.
Well it sure is too strong a drink for some folk by the looks of it, if they think Mayweather, gonna give a way nearly 100 pounds in weight and 11 inches in height and still win a UD.
Carpentier was 5'11" not 5'8". Also, Carpentier started his career as a Light Flyweight and managed to become Light Heavyweight Champion of the World and ended his career with over 90 wins with 59 by KO. That said Willard would crush Carpentier worse than Dempsey did. After Willard won the title from Jack Johnson he started coming in way overweight, which resulted in him taking embarrassing losses to both Dempsey and Firpo. Floyd Sr. laughed at people comparing Floyd Jr. To welterweights from the past, who were much bigger and more skilled than modern welterwights. Floyd would get easily run over by any decent fighter at 175 or heavyweight.
Come on now, Mayweather is no Dustin Nichols. If Mayweather went into proper training at an Alabama McDonalds with Nichols for five hard months, and came out in the same sort of shape as the Worm, then maybe he could beat Wilder. Does Floyd have the dedication to get himself into that sort of shape though?
Yeap Floyd would school Wilder in the first two rounds and than Wilder would catch and just swallow Floyd
If Wilder gets outboxed by guys like Szpilka, Washington, Duhurpas, Sconiers etc... Don't forget he was knocked out by a LHW in the ams too. I've no doubt that Usyk, Haye, Calzaghe and Ward would school Wilder. Maybe a WW is a big ask but if anyone can do it it's Floyd.
