Identical height, weight, reach, speed, skill level. Their punching power also seems equal. The only big difference is chin. McCall was never knocked down as a pro, while Rahman was knocked out several times. Who wins? (McCall 1992-95 vs Rahman 1998-2002).

    By likelihood:

    McCall by decision: 31%
    Rahman by decision: 29%
    McCall by knockout: 25%
    Rahman by knockout: 1%
    Draw: 10%
    NC: 4%

My vote for most likely: McCall by decision
    Reason: ...I...feels right...I guess.

(If these numbers don't add up, I'm very poor at math and am not responsible.)

If we're talking McCall with his head screwed on, like with Steward in his corner again, he'd be able to weather Rahman's long jab and push him to the stoppage in the second half of the fight.

If not, Rahman should be able to outbox the listless McCall to a points win.

Both guys had 82" reach, right? Unusually long for their height.

Hey, there's another similarity. Both of these guys are completely inconsistent. You never know how they're going to come in.

Rahman was better than Mcall but not by much. I would pick Rahman to beat Mcall, prime for prime.

I went for Rahman on points. I think he has the better skill set. In my eyes the only thing that Mccall does better is take a punch. But I don't feel as though Mccall is a big puncher, he caught Lewis with a perfect shot. I see Rahman winning a wide UD.

I non-fat and determined Rahman could win a decision. At his best he was a little more active than McCall and a slightly better technician.

I could also see McCall knocking Rahman out in the mid-late rounds.

Rahman UD or McCall KO McCall's right hand can certainly do Rahman in if he catches him with it

Even though I believe Rahman has a better overrall skillset, I think McCall is a tricky stylistic matchup, and I can see him wearing Rahman down with some winging overhand rights.

The chin is the difference here, and it's a BIG difference. Rahman's chin is among the worst in recent HW history, McCall's is among the best of all time. McCall was not the biggest banger, but he would get to Rahman's shaky whiskers, probably by the middle rounds.

Please! McCall by brutal KO! Rachman was the worst heavyweight champ in history. McCall was the bigger puncher, with the light years better chin. He easily shakes off Rachman's best shots, and ices him within 6.

You think McCall was clearly and significantly the better puncher to Rahman? I don't understand why...Haven't watched any of their better fights in a while though.
