There styles are based on countering their opponents shots, and is effective against aggressive straight forward fighters. this fight might be boring to be honest.

    Who would be the aggressor?

Floyd by point , taylors speed made him reckless , and he chose to brawl in times when he should have boxed.

i agree it would be very technical and has a high potential to be boring, but it would be a better fight than tarver-hopkins, say, or hopkins-wright... or hopkins-calzaghe

i honestly think pea would be the aggressor, at 147 he started fighting more flat-footed and sitting on his punches more

Speed kills Mayweather, Mayweather couldnt take Zab's speed for the first 4 rounds and Zab wasnt even doing anything tricky or spectacular, just throwing until he broke down.

Taylor be outworking and preventing Floyd from doing anything for the entire fight, and if you havent heard, Chavez has a granite chin.

Taylor had a bad habit of running into shots, and taylor relied to heavily on his speed.

Zab broke down because floyd broke him down..

Zab is way more powerful than taylor and he didnt break down floyd broke him down chavez did have an outstanding chin but de la hoya destroyed his face with far less punches taylor never even discouraged him one time mayweather doesnt get rattled. taylor did he would try to exchange everytime he got hit and thats dangerous against an accurate puncher furthermore when was the last time someone made mayweather fight for twelve we all think cotto will do it .it takes a fighter to bring the best out of you. you dont know what your best is till its brought out of you (leonard vs hearns)we seen taylors best have we seen mayweathers not yet

taylor reminds me of shane very predictable yet blessed with blazing speed . mayweather hasn't thrown a combo over three punches in a while maybe since gatti so that tells you his comfort level

Exactly, theres alot of people that criticize Floyd for losing a few of the early rounds against Zab. What they fail to realise is that it was part of a strategy. A fight is 12 rounds not 4, and if you watch you may notice that Floyd is pressing the fight the whole time as to his corner's instructions. During those early rounds he is also landing some great body shots despite losing the rounds. This paid off in the long run.

They don't see this because they think of floyd fighting only one way when he has shown in the past he can switch it up when he has too..
