SRL fullfilled his potential around 1981, Dokes didn't fulfill his ever but sure fought well drug free and highly motivated vs Holyfield. His best performance vs top opposition ever i reckon.

Dokes wasted his youth, SRL didn't.

At the end of the day, your comparison is typical rumprooster.

Dokes v Holyfield was a great fight but alot of Holyfields fights were great simply because he was an ultra attacking fighter, he wasnt a Holmes, Ali or Lennox .. Evander always liked to trade because he had 100 % confidence in his combination punches, Alot of Evanders defeats can be put down to his attacking style, if he'd have boxed cautiously then i have no doubt that he would have dealt with Quawi, Dokes, Foreman and Bowe 1 in a more convincing fashion ..... He would have always found Moorer and Lewis a problem because they were good technicians, Moorer could have been brilliant if he wasnt so mentally weak, but in regards to the original post, Dokes was only in that fight because Holyfield was such an attacking fighter, Holyfield traded and thats why Dokes looked good, Dokes's short arm hooks were brilliant in that fight but Holyfield should have been smarter

How about this comparison: Lotte Mwale in just his 7th pro fight trouncing a man you said was much much better. :D

    What a comparison :D

But that's not all. Terry Norris, a man given no chance to win, pounds Ray Leonard senseless by the third round. And according to Woody, Leonard should be even better than he was in the early 80's. :D

    :D

Woody said "The Dokes of 89 was better than the Dokes from the early 80's".

Maybe Woody is really John Thomas because they both keep sticking their foot in their mouth. :D

Rooster thinks that the same Dokes who drew with Ossie "Jaws" Ocasio would beat Evander Holyfield, and that Ray Leonard was in his prime against Terry Norris...

Perhaps he thinks that anal sex is how babies are made. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOl.....................

Well if you want to go the hammer on phrases and word play lets go Cujo.

You say Mwale trounced Johnson. What did the cards tally? A trouncing? Best supply some proof of the pooding old c0ck.

An even better example of your mindless comments

    Don't hurt me! :D

Do I detect a hint of frustration? Maybe a little anger?

Okay. I'll go easy on you, lover of losers.

What do you want me to say? It was a ****ing blowout and Leonard looked like when pressed in a tough fight, that he can't fight his way out of a paper bag. He was only dropped twice in the fight, hurt something like 4 other times and lost every round.

By the third, Terry had boxed Ray like he'd never been boxed and hit him like he'd never been hit. Leonard was so thrown off mentally that he suddenly lost his appetite for battle and basically went into a shell.

Why you always get all gooey in the fork whenever I mention Leonard, especially when I compare him with Norris? I don't understand.:huh

Did I mention Leonard's 11 year winning streak? Did I mention he was also a 3-1 favorite? Did I mention none of the experts (except for myself) gave him no chance of winning?

If that's the best defense ya got, it will have to be left at that. Talk about impotent. Trounced? Pounded senseless?
