Ortiz would have done far better v Lewis than Grant did, he was wide open.

Wilder would destroy Grant who was no more skilled than Breazale.

And yet Wilder struggled with Dahaupas who is not better than Grant for 11 rounds. Care to explain?

I know but the millisecond that that counter right landed on Grant it would've been over

Wilder has improved drastically since then, no way could Grant evade the right hand that hit Breazale, different class.

Same as the McCline fight, but with a broken jaw instead of ankle.

I'd take the Michael Grant from the Golota fight over D WIld.

lol! Youre crazy. Grant was a paper tiger. He gets flattened by DW. Not because DW is so great but because Grant was a hype job.

Wilder would have knocked out Golota, he was very easy to hit.

Maybe. Wilder isn't a defensive wiz either. I'd take a win over Golota over any D WIld win so far.

Lennox ruined him he wasn't the same fighter afterwards. Grant prior to that would have a very good chance at beating him. As Zakman said. Toss up.

I was a bit of a fan of Grant early on and it's just a shame he was packing a glass jaw which stopped him having the ultimate success.
Wilder has been a dominant champion and 1 of the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time and I think he would have easily stopped Grant early and the only way I see Grant winning is if he lands a lucky shot.
